Position Summary

TRIDENT is currently hiring a Security Officer to deliver consistent safety and security services at a secured commercial location in Cupertino, CA. This opening is well-suited for candidates who are comfortable covering both the busy evening stretch and the quieter late-night hours as the facility winds down. The right person brings steady reliability, a strong eye for detail, and unwavering professionalism no matter what the shift throws at them.

Primary Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Security Specialist team to keep customers and employees safe across commercial settings.
• Carry out foot patrols through your assigned zones to maintain a visible security footprint and discourage incidents.
• Spot, assess, and respond to unusual or potentially unsafe situations on-site.
• Record and follow up on security events, accidents, and facility maintenance matters.
• Respond fast to requests for help from supervisors, client personnel, or fellow security officers.
• Provide support to staff during evacuations, emergencies, or other high-risk moments.
• Step in on crowd control and coordinate with public safety agencies whenever a situation calls for it.
• Check employee credentials when people request access to restricted zones on client property.
• Enforce parking rules and handle vehicle-related issues on the premises.
• Engage with customers and employees respectfully and professionally at all times.
• Offer First Aid, CPR, and AED assistance during medical emergencies (if certified).
• Confirm that all exterior entry points — doors, gates, and windows — are properly secured.

Minimum Requirements

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Prior experience in security or a related field is preferred.

Licenses & Credentials

• Must hold or acquire a valid California Guard Card (BSIS) within 30 days of hire.
• A valid California Driver's License is required.
