Job Overview

TRIDENT has an opening for a Swing Shift Security Officer to provide professional protection and safety coverage at a secured commercial facility in Cupertino, CA. This swing shift role is a strong match for adaptable candidates who are comfortable working across both evening and late-night hours as the site shifts from peak activity to overnight operations. Reliability, sharp attention to detail, and a consistently professional presence are central to thriving in this position.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

• Team up with a group of Security Specialists to safeguard customers and employees across commercial environments.
• Patrol assigned areas on foot to uphold a visible security presence and deter incidents.
• Watch for, identify, and address abnormal or potentially unsafe conditions on the property.
• Document and look into security events, accidents, and any maintenance-related concerns as they come up.
• Respond to requests for help from supervisors, client employees, or fellow security team members.
• Support facility staff during evacuations, emergency events, or hazardous situations.
• Assist with crowd management and coordinate with public safety agencies when conditions warrant.
• Check identification for employees seeking access to restricted areas of the client's property.
• Manage parking enforcement and resolve vehicle-related issues on the premises.
• Engage with customers and employees in a respectful, professional manner at all times.
• Deliver First Aid, CPR, and AED assistance during medical emergencies (when certified).
• Confirm that all exterior access points — including doors, gates, and windows — are properly secured.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Previous security or related experience is preferred.

License & Driving Credentials:

• Must possess or acquire a valid California Guard Card (BSIS) within 30 days of hire.
• A valid California Driver's License is required.
