Role Overview

TRIDENT is on the hunt for a Security Officer to deliver reliable safety and security coverage at a secured commercial location in Cupertino, CA. This position lines up well for adaptable candidates who can handle both the busy evening period and the calmer late-night hours as the facility shifts from peak activity to quieter operations. The right hire will bring consistent dependability, sharp attention to detail, and a steady professional demeanor across every working condition.

Key Duties

• Work alongside a Security Specialist team to safeguard customers and employees in commercial settings.
• Patrol designated areas to maintain a visible security presence and help deter incidents.
• Identify, report, and address irregular or unsafe conditions on the premises.
• Document and follow up on security events, accidents, and facility maintenance concerns.
• Handle requests for help from supervisors, client staff, or fellow security team members.
• Support employees and visitors during evacuations, emergencies, or other hazardous events.
• Help with crowd management and partner with public safety agencies as needed.
• Check employee credentials when granting access to restricted areas on client property.
• Manage parking enforcement and vehicle-related issues on site.
• Engage with customers and employees in a courteous and professional manner at all times.
• Provide First Aid, CPR, and AED support in medical emergencies (when certified).
• Ensure all exterior access points — including doors, gates, and windows — are properly secured.

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Prior experience in security or a related field is preferred.

License & Credential Requirements

• Must hold or acquire a valid California Guard Card (BSIS) within 30 days of hire.
• A valid California Driver's License is required.
