SECURITY OFFICER RECRUITER (PART-TIME)

Launch Your Security Career – Paid Training & Promotion Path Available
GCI Security, Inc. – Greater St. Louis Area

POSITION SUMMARY

Security done right. Leadership built from within.

At GCI Security, we don’t just fill shifts, we build teams. We believe great security starts with great people, and the recruiting process is where that standard begins.

GCI Security is hiring a Part-Time Security Officer Recruiter to help manage security officer recruiting from application through interview. This person will review applicants, conduct phone screens, interview candidates in person, and help build a steady pipeline of qualified security officers for current and future openings.

This is not a “post jobs and hope” position. We need someone who can take ownership of the recruiting process, communicate professionally with candidates, ask good questions, identify red flags, and help us hire people who fit GCI’s standards.

Starting Pay: $19.00 per hour (plus retention bonuses)
Schedule: Part-time, approximately 20 hours per week
Work Setting: In-office to start, with remote opportunities possible over time
Schedule Type: Flexible schedule, with some mornings required
Reports To: Director of Security Operations

For the right person, this role may develop into a full-time position based on performance and company growth.

To succeed in this role, you must be organized, steady under pressure, and comfortable working in a fast-moving environment where priorities can shift quickly. Recruiting in security requires urgency, follow-up, judgment, and flexibility. We need someone who can keep the process moving even when staffing needs change.

ABOUT US

At GCI Security, we believe great security is about more than having someone on-site, it’s about trust, presence, and purpose. We’re a locally owned company that was the first to deliver private security services to local taxing districts in St. Louis. Today, we continue to lead the industry by providing worry-free, professional guarding services that protect what matters most.

Our mission is clear:

Built to empower. Driven to protect. Trusted to deliver worry-free guarding at the highest standard.

We serve private neighborhoods, corporate offices, retail properties, industrial sites, schools, event venues, and more, delivering proactive protection through visible presence and responsive service.

At GCI, we don’t just fill shifts, we build careers. Our team lives by five core values:

Professionalism. Accountability. Growth. Communication. Integrity.
