Job Description:
We are currently seeking candidates for a Armed Security Officers position. The Armed Security Officer Shift position provides the flexibility of working on an as-needed basis for all three shifts. This position requires individuals to be armed and has rotating shifts, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Responsibilities:
- Provide security services covering shifts for regular security staff when needed
- Monitor and patrol assigned areas to ensure safety and security
- Respond to alarms and emergencies, following protocols and procedures
- Maintain a visible presence to deter any potential security breaches
- Conduct regular security checks to identify and address any safety hazards or violations
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding any security-related incidents or concerns
- Provide excellent customer service and support to employees and visitors when needed
- Stay updated on security procedures, protocols, and industry trends
Interviews:
All interviews will be conducted by phone.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid Armed Security Commission License
- 1 Year experience in prior Law Enforcement, Military and/or Armed Security
- Availability to work ALL Shifts, including rotating shifts and variable schedules
- Must be able to obtain all duty equipment before training
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to handle high-pressure situations
- Ability to work independently and make sound decisions in accordance with established procedures
- Familiarity with security systems and technology
- Must be able to complete 2 weeks of training at Kansas City Headquarters
