Hourly Wage: $15.50 - $17.50

Role Summary
TRIDENT is hiring a Security Officer to provide professional security and safety services throughout the Greater Madison area. Upholding these principles in every interaction and reliably executing the responsibilities listed below are central to performing well in this role. These duties represent the day-to-day expectations of the position. Our Security Officers are integral to our operational success and must demonstrate strong attention to detail and dependability. This position calls for the ability to work with limited supervision, think critically to work through problems, and juggle multiple responsibilities at once.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Study and remain current on all post orders and any pass-down notes or site communications applicable to your assigned location.
- Provide exceptional customer service to employees, clients, coworkers, and the public — including answering questions, assisting with navigation, and offering general help.
- Record and route customer questions or concerns to the proper TRIDENT representative or designated site contact.
- Thoroughly document all incidents and complaints and ensure they are escalated appropriately to TRIDENT and the Client.
- Complete regular site patrols (every 60 minutes) to maintain visibility and reinforce a safe and secure environment.
- Oversee and enforce access control for authorized personnel, vehicles, and guests on the premises.
- Contribute to maintaining a hazard-free workplace and confirm that all site workers are adhering to PPE requirements.
- Respond to medical emergencies and administer first aid, CPR, and AED care as necessary.
- Inspect all interior and exterior doors and gates to verify they are properly secured and operational.
- Walk interior and exterior areas of the property to identify glass damage, maintenance issues, hazards, or any unusual conditions.
- Use the proper chain of command to report and escalate any incidents involving suspicious persons or conduct.
- Carry out any other tasks assigned by TRIDENT.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Prior experience in security is a plus.
REQUIRED CREDENTIALS
- Must obtain or already hold a valid ASRB Guard Card within 30 days of hire and maintain it throughout the duration of employment.
- Must possess and maintain a valid Alabama Driver's License.

WORK CONDITIONS
- May be required to drive a company vehicle between assigned work locations.
- Active role that spans a range of physical settings and environments, with frequent travel between client sites.
- Duties are performed indoors and outdoors regardless of weather conditions.
- Must be able to sit, stand, and walk for prolonged periods throughout the shift.
- Availability for weekends, holidays, and overtime is required as operational needs arise.
