About the Role

TRIDENT is now hiring a Graveyard Shift Security Officer to deliver top-tier security and safety coverage at a secured commercial facility in Cupertino, CA. Running Tuesday through Saturday on an overnight schedule, this assignment suits a composed, consistent professional who thrives through the quiet late-night and pre-dawn hours. The right candidate brings sharp situational awareness, a self-directed approach with minimal oversight, and a serious commitment to watching over the facility from dusk to daybreak.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Team up with fellow Security Officers to maintain a safe atmosphere for retail customers and staff
• Walk assigned patrol routes to keep a visible security presence and discourage incidents
• Stay alert for suspicious activity or unsafe conditions anywhere on site
• Log and follow through on incidents, accidents, and facility upkeep issues
• Respond to requests for help from supervisors and client personnel whenever they come up
• Provide backup to client employees during evacuations, emergencies, or hazardous situations
• Assist with crowd control and liaise with public safety agencies when the situation calls for it
• Check employee credentials before granting entry to restricted zones on client property
• Uphold parking rules and address vehicle-related concerns on the premises
• Interact with customers and staff in a friendly, professional way
• Deliver First Aid, CPR, or AED response during medical emergencies (if certified)
• Walk building exteriors to verify that all doors, gates, and windows are secure
• Join daily shift briefings and share relevant site information with the team
• Conduct mobile patrols between retail sites whenever directed
• Maintain company-issued equipment in good working condition at all times
• Draft clear, accurate written reports as required
• Handle any additional duties assigned by TRIDENT management

Education & Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent is required
• Prior security experience is preferred

Physical Demands & Work Environment

• May be asked to operate a company vehicle between sites
• Will be assigned to multiple retail locations
• Must be able to work in indoor and outdoor environments regardless of weather
• Involves regular walking, standing, and extended periods of being on your feet
• Must be available to work weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed

Classification & Reporting

This is a full-time, hourly, non-exempt Security Officer position that reports directly to the Field Supervisor.
