About This Position

TRIDENT has an opening for a Security Officer to provide professional safety and security coverage at a secured commercial site in Cupertino, CA. This role is a great fit for flexible candidates who are at ease working across both the evening and late-night hours as the facility shifts from peak activity to quieter operations. Candidates must demonstrate dependability, keen attention to detail, and a steady professional demeanor across all working conditions.

Scope of Work

• Collaborate with a Security Specialist team to safeguard customers and employees in commercial settings.
• Walk designated areas to maintain a visible security presence and help prevent incidents.
• Recognize, report, and address irregular or unsafe conditions on the premises.
• Document and follow up on security incidents, accidents, and facility maintenance concerns.
• Fulfill requests for assistance from supervisors, client staff, or fellow security team members.
• Support employees and visitors during evacuations, emergencies, or other hazardous situations.
• Assist with crowd management and collaborate with public safety agencies as needed.
• Check employee credentials when granting access to restricted areas on client property.
• Handle parking enforcement and vehicle-related issues on site.
• Engage with customers and employees in a courteous and professional manner at all times.
• Provide First Aid, CPR, and AED support in medical emergencies (when certified).
• Ensure all exterior access points — including doors, gates, and windows — are properly secured.

Required Background

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Prior experience in security or a related field is preferred.

Guard Card & License Requirements

• Must hold or obtain a valid California Guard Card (BSIS) within 30 days of hire.
• Valid California Driver's License required.
