About the Role

TRIDENT is seeking a Swing Shift Security Officer to provide professional safety and security services at a secured commercial site in Cupertino, CA.

This swing shift opportunity is ideal for adaptable candidates who are comfortable working across both evening and overnight hours as the facility transitions from busy to quieter periods. Success in this role requires dependability, sharp attention to detail, and consistent professionalism in all conditions.

Core Responsibilities:

• Work alongside a Security Specialist team to ensure the safety of customers and employees in commercial environments.
• Patrol designated areas on foot to maintain a visible security presence and deter incidents.
• Monitor, identify, and respond to irregular or unsafe conditions.
• Record and investigate security incidents, accidents, and maintenance-related concerns.
• Respond to requests for support from supervisors, client staff, or security team members.
• Assist personnel during evacuations, emergencies, or other hazardous events.
• Support crowd management and coordinate with public safety authorities when needed.
• Verify identification for employees accessing restricted areas on client property.
• Manage parking enforcement and vehicle-related concerns on site.
• Maintain professional and respectful interactions with customers and employees at all times.
• Administer First Aid, CPR, and AED in medical emergencies (when certified).
• Confirm all exterior access points including doors, gates, and windows are secured.

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Prior security or related experience is preferred.

Licenses and Certifications:

• Must hold or obtain a valid California Guard Card (BSIS) within 30 days of hire.
• Valid California Driver's License required.
