BSG is currently seeking to hire a qualified Security Officer to join our team in San Francisco assigned to various sites that include a residential complex in the Mission District, and a bus pad location on the East side. Security Officers are primarily responsible for perimeter and access control. Our Guards will ensure guests, tenants and employees feel secure and welcomed everyday.
- Shift: Full Time Grave (Saturday through Wednesday) and Part-Time Morning/Grave shifts available
- Hourly Rate: $23.00 - $25.00

Requirements & Qualifications:
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Eligibility to work in the United States.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Possess a current California Guard Card License.
- A valid Driver's License and a clean driving record are required for applicable sites.
- Reliable transportation is necessary.
- Proficient in basic computer and smartphone usage.
- Must be able to speak, read, and write in English to create accurate reports; additional language skills are a plus.
- Strong listening skills, patience, and compassion, particularly when interacting with community members experiencing emotional or psychological challenges.
- Ability to remain calm in crisis situations, think critically, de-escalate conflicts, and communicate effectively.
- Maintain a positive, professional demeanor in adherence to all laws, regulations, company policies, and confidentiality standards.
- Ensure compliance with both company and client policies and procedures while being open to performance improvement.
- Possess a clear understanding of emergency response procedures and protocols.
- At least one year of experience in security, mobile patrol, or event staff roles.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Successfully pass a background check and drug screening.
- Performs other related duties, as assigned.
