Security Officer

KS Services is hiring Security Officers to protect the staff, residents, visitors, and tenants at properties we serve in Miami, FL and other areas in Florida. We want experienced officers who stay alert, react quickly to suspicious activity, and treat people professionally. 

Job Details: 17.50-$20.00 (varies by post) 

• Full-time and part-time positions Location: Miami, FL and other areas of FL.

Responsibilities 

• Monitor the property to detect theft, unauthorized access, and suspicious activity 

• Control entry and exit of employees, visitors, and vehicles per gatehouse protocols 

• Check ID for all staff, contractors, and visitors before granting access 

• Patrol the premises and scan checkpoints on rover shifts 

• Monitor security systems and report anything suspicious 

• Write clear, accurate incident reports 

• Communicate courteously with residents, staff, and visitors 

Requirements 

• Active Florida Class D Security License 

• At least 1 year of security experience in a hospitality, residential, or commercial setting 

• High school diploma or equivalent 

• Excellent customer service and strong verbal and written communication 

• Good computer skills 

• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently 

Physical Requirements 

• Stand and walk for extended periods; use stairs as needed; operate a patrol vehicle at some posts
