Grave, Swing, Day Shifts
Pay - $16 - $18hr
A Security Guard, or Security Officer, is responsible for protecting a person, organization, or asset in the case of an incident. Their duties include monitoring a specific area, evicting trespassers, and writing reports detailing any occurrences during their shift.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor premises to prevent theft, violence, or infractions of rules
- Thoroughly examine doors, windows, and gates to ensure proper function and security
- Warn violators of premise rules and regulations
- Expel persons engaging in suspicious or criminal acts
- Report any facility issues such as fire hazards and leaking water pipes
- Request emergency personnel for high-risk situations
- Using company software for report writing during surveillance/patrol of property
Qualifications:
- Must have NM Level 1or 2 security guard card
(Training Class - available) - Good driving record if approved for Patrol officer
Skills::
- Flexible and Dependable
- Good customer service and professionalism
- Previous experience in security, law enforcement, or other related fields is a plus
- Familiarity with security equipment
- Excellent Communication
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to use cell phone to do reports
- Ability to remain calm under stress
- Ability to work with the public in a professional manner
Must have a reliable vehicle
