Schedule: Thursday - Monday, 10:00 PM - 6:30 AM

About the Role

TRIDENT is looking for a Retail Security Specialist to provide professional safety and security services at retail locations in Cupertino, CA.

The right candidate will be self-motivated, dependable, and focused on providing exceptional customer service. This role requires strong situational awareness, professionalism, and the ability to act swiftly in a high-activity environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work alongside a team of Security Specialists to protect customers and staff in retail environments.
• Perform regular on-foot patrols of assigned areas to deter incidents and maintain visibility.
• Monitor, identify, and respond to unusual or potentially unsafe situations.
• Document and investigate security incidents, accidents, and maintenance issues.
• Respond to supervisor and client requests for assistance in a timely manner.
• Assist client staff in evacuations, emergencies, or other high-risk situations.
• Coordinate with public safety officials for crowd control when necessary.
• Verify employee identification when accessing secure client areas.
• Enforce parking regulations and assist with vehicle-related concerns.
• Engage customers and employees with professionalism and a service-oriented attitude.
• Provide basic First Aid, CPR, and AED support in medical emergencies (if certified).
• Perform exterior checks to confirm that doors, gates, and windows are properly secured.

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Prior retail security or customer service experience is a plus.

Licenses and Certifications:

• Must obtain or currently hold a valid California Guard Card (BSIS).
• Valid California Driver's License required.
