Role Overview

TRIDENT is actively recruiting a Retail Security Specialist to deliver professional safety and security services at retail locations throughout Cupertino, CA. We are looking for a self-starter who is reliable and genuinely committed to providing outstanding customer service. This position demands strong situational awareness, a professional presence at all times, and the ability to respond decisively in a busy, fast-moving retail setting.

Essential Duties:

• Team up with fellow Security Specialists to ensure the safety of customers and staff across retail environments.
• Conduct regular foot patrols of all assigned areas to maintain a visible presence and prevent incidents from occurring.
• Observe, assess, and act on unusual or potentially unsafe conditions encountered during the shift.
• Prepare thorough documentation and conduct investigations of security incidents, accidents, and reported maintenance issues.
• Address assistance requests from supervisors and client personnel promptly and professionally.
• Support client employees during evacuations, emergency responses, or any high-risk situations on the premises.
• Work with public safety authorities to assist with crowd control situations as needed.
• Confirm employee identification before granting access to secure or restricted client areas.
• Oversee parking lot compliance and handle vehicle-related incidents or complaints on site.
• Approach every interaction with customers and employees in a professional, service-focused manner.
• Render First Aid, CPR, and AED support during medical emergencies (if certified).
• Inspect exterior entry points — doors, gates, and windows — to verify they are fully secured.

Education & Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Previous retail security or customer service experience is a plus.

Licenses & Credentials:

• Must obtain or currently hold a valid California Guard Card (BSIS).
• Valid California Driver's License required.
