Armed Paramedic Officer

Shift : Monday 0600-1400, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday 2200-0600

Pay rate : $26.52-$31.44

Location : Jupiter, FL

Position Overview

The Armed Paramedic Officer provides emergency medical care while maintaining site security. This dual-role position combines rapid medical response with armed protective services.

Key Responsibilities:

As a Paramedic, you will play a vital role in delivering immediate care to those in need. Your responsibilities will include:

• Respond to medical emergencies and provide pre-hospital care
• Administer CPR, oxygen, medications, and advanced life support
• Conduct armed security patrol when not engaged in medical response
• Complete medical and incident documentation
• Coordinate with law enforcement, fire rescue, and hospital staff
• Maintain ambulance and medical equipment readiness

Requirements:

To excel in this role, you should meet the following requirements:

• Active Florida Paramedic Certification
• Valid Florida Class D & G Security Licenses
• Valid Driver’s License
• Prior paramedic experience (required)
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Ability to pass background screening and drug test
