About the Role

TRIDENT is seeking an Overnight Security Officer to provide professional safety and security support at client locations in Cupertino, CA.

This overnight shift requires a vigilant, self-sufficient professional comfortable working independently during late-night hours. Staying alert, exercising sound judgment, and maintaining a composed demeanor while securing the facility through the night are critical to success in this position.

Core Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with Security Specialists to maintain a safe environment for employees and customers.
• Execute regular foot patrols throughout assigned areas to deter unauthorized activity and maintain presence.
• Identify, report, and respond to hazardous or irregular situations.
• Document and investigate security incidents, accidents, and maintenance concerns.
• Provide prompt assistance to clients and supervisors when requested.
• Support staff and visitors during emergencies, evacuations, or high-risk scenarios.
• Partner with public safety personnel when crowd control assistance is required.
• Check credentials for employees accessing restricted client areas.
• Handle parking-related enforcement and resolve vehicle-related issues.
• Maintain professional and courteous interactions with all customers and employees.
• Administer First Aid, CPR, and AED support in medical emergencies (when certified).
• Secure all exterior access points by verifying doors, gates, and windows are properly closed and locked.

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Prior security experience is preferred.

Licenses and Certifications:

• Must hold or obtain a valid California Guard Card (BSIS) within 30 days of hire.
• Valid California Driver's License required.
