Responsibilities

Off-duty Armed Security Officers responsibilities include, but are not limited to: 

  • Conduct patrols and monitor surveillance cameras to prevent theft and ensure a safe environment.
  • Respond to incidents and emergencies on-site, documenting all occurrences for property and Titan Security management.

Qualifications

  • Active Officers: Must provide Verification of Employment as a Full-Time Peace Officer.
  • Retired Officers: Must possess a Firearm Control Card (FCC) or maintain a valid Illinois Permanent Employee Registration Card (PERC) and FOID card, complying with all required laws.
  • Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check.
  • Proficient in reading, writing, speaking, and understanding English.
  • Must meet the physical requirements of the role, including lifting 50+ lbs, performing foot patrols, navigating stairs, and working in various weather conditions.
Compensation and Benefits: 
  • Pay: $40+ per hour, based on experience and location.
  • Benefits: Paid time off, paid holidays, and medical, dental, vision, and disability insurance for qualifying employees.
  • Training: Skills-enhancing training provided.
