About the Role

TRIDENT is looking for a Morning Security Officer to deliver professional security and safety coverage at assigned sites in Cupertino, CA. This early morning position is a great fit for a driven, detail-focused professional who excels in structured settings and takes satisfaction in creating a safe, well-ordered environment from the start of the day. Duties & Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with a team of Security Specialists to protect customers and employees in retail settings
• Conduct foot patrols throughout assigned areas to maintain a visible presence and discourage incidents
• Monitor, document, and respond to abnormal or unsafe conditions on the property
• Investigate and write up security incidents, accidents, and identified maintenance issues
• Respond to requests for help from supervisors or client representatives
• Assist client staff during evacuations, emergency situations, or hazardous conditions
• Help manage crowd control situations and coordinate with emergency services as needed
• Verify employee identification at client access points
• Enforce parking policies and assist in resolving vehicle-related incidents or disputes
• Proactively greet and assist customers and staff in a courteous and professional manner
• Respond to medical emergencies and deliver First Aid, CPR, or AED support (if certified)
• Perform exterior checks to confirm doors, gates, and windows are properly secured
• Attend daily shift briefings and relay site updates to team members
• Carry out mobile patrols between retail sites as directed
• Keep all assigned company equipment in good, working condition
• Prepare thorough, accurate written reports as required
• Fulfill additional duties as assigned by TRIDENT management

Education & Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Prior experience in a security role preferred

Credentials Required:

• Valid California Driver's License
• Valid BSIS Guard Card

Physical Requirements & Work Environment:

• May be required to operate a company vehicle between client locations
• Position spans multiple retail sites
• Must be comfortable working indoors and outdoors across varying weather conditions
• Involves frequent walking and standing with occasional extended periods of sitting
• Must be available for weekends, holidays, and overtime as required

Classification & Reporting:
The Security Specialist is a full-time, hourly, non-exempt position that reports directly to the Field Supervisor.
