About This Role

TRIDENT has an opening for a Graveyard Shift Security Officer to deliver professional security and safety services at a secured commercial facility in Cupertino, CA. This Tuesday through Saturday overnight position is built for a disciplined, resilient professional who performs at their best during the late-night and early-morning hours. Candidates must bring exceptional situational awareness, the capacity to work independently with limited oversight, and a firm commitment to thorough facility monitoring throughout the full overnight window.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Collaborate with fellow Security Officers to maintain a safe environment for customers and employees in retail settings
• Conduct foot patrols of designated areas to uphold a visible security presence and discourage incidents
• Monitor, identify, and respond to irregular or unsafe conditions throughout the facility
• Document and follow up on security incidents, accidents, and facility maintenance concerns
• Fulfill assistance requests from supervisors and client personnel as they arise
• Support client staff during evacuations, emergencies, or hazardous situations
• Aid with crowd management and coordinate with public safety agencies when needed
• Check employee credentials when granting access to restricted areas on client property
• Enforce parking regulations and address vehicle-related issues on the premises
• Interact with customers and employees in a courteous, professional manner
• Provide First Aid, CPR, or AED assistance in medical emergencies (if certified)
• Patrol building exteriors to confirm all doors, gates, and windows are secured
• Attend daily shift briefings and relay relevant site updates to the team
• Conduct mobile patrols between retail locations as directed
• Keep all company-issued equipment in good working order
• Prepare thorough, accurate written reports as required
• Carry out additional tasks assigned by TRIDENT management

Education & Background

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Previous security experience preferred

Licensing Requirements

• Valid California Driver's License
• Valid BSIS Guard Card

Physical & Environmental Requirements

• May be required to operate a company vehicle between sites
• Will be assigned to multiple retail locations
• Must be able to work in indoor and outdoor settings regardless of weather conditions
• Involves regular walking, standing, and extended periods of being on your feet
• Must be available to work weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed

Classification & Reporting

The Security Officer is a full-time, hourly, non-exempt position that reports directly to the Field Supervisor.
