Job Skills / Requirements

Sunstates Security is currently hiring Full-Time Armed Security Officers to join our team in the Tamarac area. This position is for a jewelry manufacturing plant, and we are seeking reliable, professional, and vigilant candidates.

Requirements:

• Active Florida Class D & G licenses (must be current)
• Must provide your own Glock firearm
• Previous armed security experience required
• Strong attention to detail and excellent reliability

Responsibilities:

• Monitor CCTV and security cameras
• Conduct interior patrols of the facility
• Monitor employees entering and exiting the building
• Perform employee check-ins (X-ray screening)
• Manage front desk access control
• Conduct foot patrols
• Escort vendors and visitors as needed

A Security Officer may perform a multitude of duties as specified by the Post Orders and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).
