Armed Security Officer

City Security Services is hiring Transit Security Officers for positions involving both static post coverage and mobile patrol responsibilities.

The role requires officers to maintain situational awareness, communicate effectively, follow procedures, and take appropriate action when security or safety concerns arise.


Pay: $22/hr
Location: Houston, TX 77011
Schedule: Full-Time, Overnight, 40 hours/week

• Saturday: 10:00pm-6:00am
• Sunday: 10:00pm-6:00am
• Monday: 10:00pm-6:00am
• Tuesday: 10:00pm-6:00am
• Wednesday: 10:00pm-6:00am

Responsibilities

• Provide fixed-post coverage.
• Conduct mobile and foot patrols.
• Monitor facility activity.
• Respond to emergencies.
• Respond to alarms.
• Assist sick or injured persons.
• Coordinate professional medical assistance.
• Monitor visitors and occupants.
• Report facility hazards.
• Report equipment malfunctions.
• Monitor unauthorized access.
• Take lawful action when authorized.
• Complete reports and documentation.

Qualifications

Candidates must meet the prescribed education/experience pathway and possess an active Level 3 certification, guard license, baton and OC certifications, and valid driver's license.

A clean three-year driving history, successful PRT completion, required training completion, basic technical skills, and minimum age of 21 are also required.
