Armed Security Officer

City Security Services is hiring qualified Transit Security Officers who can provide reliable security coverage and respond effectively when incidents occur.

Officers will work within transport facilities and follow established security procedures, General Orders, Post Orders, and emergency response plans.

Pay: $22/hr
Location: Houston, TX 77029
Schedule: Full-Time, Overnight, 42 hours/week

• Wednesday: 11:59PM - 6:00AM
• Thursday: 6:00PM - 6:00AM
• Friday: 6:00PM - 6:00AM
• Saturday: 6:00PM - 6:00AM

Duties Include

• Fixed-post security.
• Mobile patrol.
• Facility inspections.
• Alarm response.
• Emergency response.
• Medical assistance.
• Visitor processing.
• Access monitoring.
• Rule compliance observation.
• Hazard reporting.
• Equipment issue reporting.
• Incident documentation.
• Authorized intervention regarding unauthorized access.
• Communication with supervisors and emergency responders.

Requirements

Applicants must hold an active Level 3 certification and guard license, including baton and OC certifications.

Applicants must also meet the required education/experience standard, be at least 21, possess a valid driver's license with a clean three-year driving history, pass the PRT, complete 24-hour training, and demonstrate basic technical proficiency.
