Armed Security Officer

City Security Services is seeking dependable Transit Security Officers to protect public mobility properties through proactive patrol, observation, access monitoring, and emergency response.

Position Overview

The Transit Security Officer will maintain assigned security posts, conduct patrols, monitor activity, respond to alarms and incidents, and assist patrons and employees when necessary.
 

Pay: $22/hr
Location: Houston, TX 77449
Schedule: Full-Time, Split Shift, 32 hours/week

• Friday: 5:00AM - 1:00PM
• Saturday: 5:00AM - 1:00PM
• Sunday: 1:00PM - 9:00PM
• Monday: 1:00PM - 9:00PM

Responsibilities

• Perform static and mobile patrol assignments.
• Conduct security, fire, and safety checks.
• Monitor occupants and visitors.
• Respond to emergency conditions.
• Assist with medical emergencies.
• Provide basic first aid.
• Contact emergency responders.
• Report hazards and equipment problems.
• Process visitors.
• Monitor unauthorized access.
• Respond to facility alarms.
• Document incidents.
• Follow General Orders and Post Orders.

Requirements

Applicants must have active Level 3 certification, guard license in hand, baton and OC certifications, valid driver's license, and clean driving history.

The candidate must also satisfy the designated education/experience requirement, pass the PRT, complete required training, demonstrate basic technical proficiency, and be at least 21.
