Job Description:
We are seeking highly motivated and dedicated individuals to join our team as armed security officers. As an Unarmed Security Officer, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and visitors. You will provide foot patrols for designated areas, enforce security protocols, and respond to incidents when necessary.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular patrols of assigned areas on foot, or by patrol vehicle (if applicable)
- Observe and report any suspicious activities, hazards, or violations of company policies
- Respond promptly to alarms, emergencies, and requests for assistance
- Perform access control duties, verifying credentials and maintaining proper documentation
- Monitor surveillance systems and alarms to identify potential security threats
- Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency services when needed
- Provide exceptional customer service by assisting visitors and addressing inquiries or concerns
- Enforce company rules and regulations to maintain order and discipline
- Follow proper protocols for locking and unlocking designated areas
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to handle high-pressure situations
- Ability to work independently and make sound decisions in accordance with established procedures
- Familiarity with security systems and technology
- Must be able to work a 12 hour shift
