Position Summary

TRIDENT is looking to hire a motivated Retail Security Specialist to provide top-quality safety and protection services at retail sites across Cupertino, CA. The ideal candidate is self-starting, reliable, and dedicated to delivering an elevated level of customer service on every shift. This position calls for strong situational awareness, polished interpersonal skills, and the composure to make sound decisions in a high-traffic, fast-paced retail setting.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Partner with the broader Security Specialist team to safeguard customers and employees across retail locations.
• Complete scheduled foot patrols throughout all assigned areas to maintain a strong security presence and proactively deter incidents.
• Monitor for and respond to unusual or potentially dangerous conditions that develop throughout the shift.
• Create detailed records and conduct follow-up investigations for security incidents, accidents, and facility maintenance concerns.
• Address requests for support from supervisors and client personnel promptly and with professionalism.
• Support client staff during evacuation procedures, emergency situations, and other critical on-site events.
• Coordinate with law enforcement and public safety personnel to assist with crowd management when required.
• Verify identification for employees and others requesting access to secure or restricted areas on client property.
• Patrol parking facilities and address vehicle-related issues or complaints occurring on the premises.
• Engage every customer and employee with a professional, service-oriented approach in all interactions.
• Provide First Aid, CPR, and AED assistance during medical emergencies when certified to do so.
• Perform regular checks of all exterior entry points — including doors, gates, and windows — to ensure they remain properly secured.

Academic & Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Previous retail security or customer service experience is a plus.

License & Driving Requirements:

• Must obtain or currently possess a valid California Guard Card (BSIS).
• A valid California Driver’s License is required.
