Description

Silver Star Protection Group is a licensed security agency that consists of a team of security experts and professionals. We provide business owners and their facilities with the optimum level of protection for their staff and high-value assets. Silver Star operates in the cannabis, healthcare, construction, government and retail industries.


Silver Star is actively searching for a Senior Director of Operations. The SDO is responsible for the day-to-day operations of a 400+ employee staff that covers 3+ states. This includes management of the firms’ finances, business development, leadership team, client relationships, staff training and development, etc. The SDO is also accountable for quality, consistent security services to our clients, improvements to our systems, processes and SOP’s, as well as other high priority items that drive business growth.


Responsibilities:

  • Drive the organization’s vision, mission, values and culture.
  • Manage a team of Directors, Regional Managers, Team Leads and Security Officers.
  • Ensure that clients are provided with high quality security services.
  • Oversee the compliance and development of all systems, processes and SOP’s.
  • Manage the training and development of all staff.
  • Compile and prepare reports and documents pertaining to operations and business growth.
  • Effectively utilize company security assets including technology, vehicles, etc.
  • Handle any escalated security issues or emergency situations.
  • Stay current on federal, state, and local guidelines relative to our services.
  • Develop and maintain effective employee, employer relations
Requirements
  •  Bachelor’s Degree.
  • Experience in the cannabis, construction or healthcare industry.
  • Experience with workforce management, business development and scheduling systems.
  • Enthusiasm, great customer service and the ability to work effectively with people.
  • Must be able to work both independently and within a team setting.
  • Must have reliable transportation to visit client locations as needed to handle on-boarding or meet with employees
Salary Description
$80,000 + bonus opportunities
