Job Overview

The Shift Supervisor will follow the directives of the Post Commander and work closely with the Operations Manager and Field Supervisors. The Shift Supervisor will administer and enforce regulations and company policies, while developing security officers to exceed expectations. As a Shift Supervisor you will be responsible for assisting the Post Commander with the professional operation, administration, and quality assurance your site.

 


Responsibilities and Duties

  • Must have the ability to make tough decisions quickly and efficiently in emergency situations
  • Strong Written and Oral communication skills
  • Availability to answer calls and solve issues during their shift.
  • Ability to understand and teach GSI policies and procedures to Officers.
  • Will be responsible for conducting disciplinary actions to Officers.
  • Always wear appropriate and professional uniform attire while on duty.
  • Maintain security policies and procedures throughout all shifts, guards and circumstances
  • Coordinate with the Post Commander on creating and improving site specific protocols
  • Conduct routine patrols set forth by Post Commander and Management.
  • Respond to alarms and distress calls and perform checks in areas of concern
  • Manage activity being submitted unto Silvertrack and BuildingLink and report to Post Commander about said activity.
  • Ensure all employees are filling out their timesheets correctly and send to the scheduler by Monday morning.

  • Ability to provide outstanding customer service to clients
  • Ability to effectively communicate with direct reports, potential employees, upper management, and clients
  • Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality

Education Requirements (Any)

High School Diploma or Equivalent
Associates Degree


Certification Requirements (Any)

Valid Guard Card
