Hourly Wage: $15.25 - $17.00/hr
Work Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M.

POSITION OVERVIEW

Trident is seeking a meticulous and composed professional to manage security at a prominent civic facility. This role is well-suited for candidates who thrive in structured, independent environments and take pride in maintaining order and professionalism on every shift. The ideal candidate will demonstrate excellent service skills and conduct themselves with courtesy and respect when engaging with City Hall staff, elected officials, and members of the public. The ability to accommodate occasional schedule extensions beyond 5:00 P.M. may be necessary to support security operations during City Council meetings.

PRIMARY DUTIES

• Conduct walking patrols and secure all exterior perimeters, verifying that doors and gates remain properly locked.
• Monitor facility grounds for potential safety hazards, maintenance needs, or signs of unauthorized entry.
• Provide helpful, professional assistance to visitors and client staff as situations require.
• Respond to medical emergencies with CPR and AED intervention as needed.
• Perform routine inspections of security equipment and maintain accurate logs of any suspicious or abnormal activity.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• A current and valid Alabama Security Regulatory Board (ASRB) Guard Card is mandatory.
• Physical ability to walk, stand, and carry out duties outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Demonstrated ability to stay calm and act professionally during high-pressure incidents.
• Dependable personal transportation is required.
