Job Skills / Requirements


This is a STANDING/WALKING post which requires you to be on your feet while on-duty. 

As a retail security officer, you will be held to above-quality standards as a server of our surrounding communities. As a retail security officer, you must maintain a commanding presence and high-quality customer service skills. You must also have the ability to handle crisis situations at the client site calmly, effectively, and efficiently. 
As a retail security officer with our company, you will be responsible for initiating and completing daily reports. As a talented team member, you will command a high-standing presence when posted at our sites. Some of the other duties include but are not limited to:
  • Monitor and patrol assigned areas to deter theft 
  • Communicate constantly with the manager on duty regarding any suspicious activity 
  • Implement loss prevention strategies and procedures to minimize risk  
  • Monitor and respond to alarms to detect potential theft 
  • Provide excellent customer service by assisting customers with inquiries or concerns.

Qualifications:
  • NYS Security License
  • Strong knowledge of loss prevention procedures and protocols 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for report writing and conflict management 
  • Ability to handle stressful situations calmly and professionally 
  • Attention to detail and strong observation skills 
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment 
  • Must be able to speak, read, and write fluent English




Certification Requirements (All)



NYS Security License

Valid State ID

Valid Social Security Card

This is a Full-Time position
1st Shift, 2nd Shift, Weekends.


Relocation is not provided and travel is not required
