Job Skills / Requirements

We are excited to announce an opening for an enthusiastic, responsible security officer at a Medical Facility in Freeport NY to join our dynamic team. As the first point of contact for our visitors, you will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming and inviting atmosphere right from the moment they enter our space. This is a front desk position where security and inhouse staff work together to provide a safe and profession experience.

In this position, your primary responsibilities will include warmly welcoming guests at the front entrance, providing them with essential information and directions to their appointments, and ensuring they feel comfortable and at ease during their visit. A key part of your role will be to engage with our guests, fostering a genuine connection and sharing our passion for mental health/reform in a way that enhances their experience.

Ideal candidates for this position should have at least one year of customer service experience, demonstrating strong interpersonal skills that allow for effective communication and genuine interactions with a diverse audience. The ability to verbally deescalate issues that may arise while keeping an accurate account of the incident.

Requirements:
  • Valid NYS Security License
  • Willingness to take de-escalation training
