Job Description:
Responsibilities:
- Provide armed security services on a per-as-needed basis, covering shifts for regular security staff when needed
- Rotate through different shifts, including mornings, days, evenings, and overnights. At least one weekend shift, and holidays as needed.
- Monitor and patrol assigned areas to ensure safety and security
- Respond to alarms and emergencies, following protocols and procedures
- Maintain a visible presence to deter any potential security breaches
- Conduct regular security checks to identify and address any safety hazards or violations
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding any security-related incidents or concerns
- Provide excellent customer service and support to employees and visitors when needed
- Stay updated on security procedures, protocols, and industry trends
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1 year of experience in security, law enforcement, military, or corrections.
- Availability to work on a per-as-needed, including rotating shifts and variable schedules
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to handle high-pressure situations
- Ability to work independently and make sound decisions in accordance with established procedures
- Familiarity with security systems and technology
